EB/Streymur in English

The team is a result of a merger in 1993 between Eiđis Bóltfelag, who were founded in 23 February 1913, and Streymur, founded in 1976. Prior to the merger, both EB Eiđi and Streymur usually played their football in the second or third division. After the merger in 1993 the club in its first season won promotion to the best division, but only to be relegated the next year. With a newly built soccer ground at Mřlin, Eiđi, and a healthy injection of young talent EB/Streymur chased promotion to the top flight. In 2000 the club finally won promotion again, and since have been in the best division, now playing its football viđ Margáir, Streymnes.
The club has never won Formuladeildin (league). But won the Faroese Cup two times, in 2007 and 2008.
